Professor Igor Andrade

Professor Igor Andrade, a fourth degree black belt, has always lived the BJJ lifestyle to its fullest form.

Originally from Rio de Janeiro, he embraces 100% his passion for BJJ and loves to share his skills and help in the evolution of all his students. He has been teaching since 1998 and is very proud of his students having achieved results not only in Jiu Jitsu but also in every aspect of their lives.

He is also very fond of exposing his students to competition and he runs a very competition-oriented GB location, himself being a multiple medalist at several IBJJF & CBJJ tournaments.

Ricky Nelson

Black Belt

Ricky Nelson is a seasoned competitor, a former Marine and also the a Masters World Champion. Ricky loves to teach and help every member. As a multiple IBJJF medalist, he’s an specialist at polishing competitors’ game for competitions.

When he’s not training, Ricky works as a firefighter/paramedic for Osceola County. He has an excellent work ethic and is constantly seeking to help all members of the academy and the community.

The “Robles Brothers”

“Moe Joe” & “Twista” have been training at Gracie Barra Kissimmee since 2009 and they both have extensive experience in competing as well as coaching kids.
The Robles Brothers are in charge of our Kids Program, being a very positive influence on their students due to their character, discipline and skills.

They love to work hard, compete and share their skills with their students:

Moises “ Moe Joe” Robles has traveled around the world competing, is a three-time medalist in the IBJJF World Championship, Miami Open Champion (2014), 2x Boca Open Silver Medalist (2014 & 2015), & Atlanta Open Silver Medalist (2013). His favorite Jiu-Jitsu fighters are Keenan Cornelius and Felipe “Preguiça” Pena in which he traveled to Brazil to train at GB Belo Horizonte with the black belt World Champ himself.

Moe Joe is a strong believer in working hard and never giving up to accomplish your dream.

Michael “Twista” Robles is a three-time state champion and IBJJF medalist. This athletic young man also plays soccer and is a full time student when he is not training jiu-jitsu. Twista has been an assistant kids instructor for four years and his dedication to this sport shows the kids what it truly takes to be a champion.

“Twista” is the perfect role model for every child!
